Held February 2015 at Fleisher Art Memorial Teen Lounge in Philadelphia, PA.
This is a generative workshop perfect for art galleries or exhibit opening. I create a series of prompts and provide an “Ekphrastic Tour” for attendees. With notebooks and pens in hand, we tour the gallery, stopping at specific points to respond to the art through writing. This brings viewers into closer contact with the art by going beyond simple observation.
